Tattry Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 October 2026

These terms apply to the Tattry app for iPhone, provided by Gabriel Capraru, Romania („we"). By using the app you agree to them. They are the licensed application end user license agreement for Tattry, in addition to the rules of Apple's App Store; where they are silent, Apple's standard EULA applies.

What Tattry is

Tattry shows a tattoo design on a photo of your skin and uses AI to render how it could look. It is a preview tool for inspiration and for talking to your tattoo artist. It is not professional advice. A real tattoo depends on your skin, the artist, the size and the healing: the rendered result, the suggested sizes and the tool previews (removal, cover-up, changes) are estimates and can differ from reality. Confirm every decision with a professional before you get inked.

Your account

The app creates an anonymous account on first launch. Sign in with Apple ties it to your Apple ID so your credits follow you to a new phone. You are responsible for what is done with your account on your devices. You can delete the account in Settings at any time; deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Credits and Unlimited

Acceptable use

Use Tattry only with photos of yourself or of people who have agreed to it. Do not use it to create content that is sexual, hateful, violent, deceptive (for example to fake a real person's tattoo), that infringes someone's rights, or that is illegal where you are. Do not try to circumvent credits, the fair-use limit or the safety filter, to overload the service, or to reverse engineer the app. We may refuse renders, suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund of unused credits in serious cases.

Content and rights

You keep all rights to your photos. The designs in the library were created for Tattry; you may use them, and the designs and try-ons generated for you, for your personal tattoo plans, to share with friends and to show to your artist. You may not resell the library designs or present AI designs as hand-drawn work for sale. AI output can resemble existing art; before a design becomes a tattoo, you and your artist are responsible for checking it does not copy someone's work. We make no claim of copyright over the images generated for you and no guarantee that they are free of third-party rights.

AI processing

AI renders are produced by third-party providers in the United States, as described in the Privacy Policy. You consent to this in the app before the first render and can withdraw the consent in Settings. Results vary, can be wrong, and can occasionally be refused by the provider's safety filter.

Availability and liability

Tattry is provided „as is". We work to keep it available, but renders depend on third-party providers and may be slow, fail or be withdrawn; we may change or discontinue features. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions you take based on a preview, and our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence, including the right to withdraw from a purchase where it applies (for digital content delivered immediately, such as credits used, that right is waived by using them).

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the app shows a notice for material changes, and continuing to use it after that means you accept them. Romanian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country. Disputes go to the competent courts in Romania or, for consumers in the EU, to the courts of your country of residence; the EU online dispute resolution platform is also available.
